Officers enjoy working from home on a wait for call status, 3 days on followed by 3 days off. Officers will be required to answer and respond to various animal related calls, court appearances, and administrative duties. All applicants must live within a 30 minute response from the County of Union, be a NJ Certified Animal Control Officer, and hold a valid NJ driver's license. Posted 10/01/11 - Union County, New Jersey The Township of Union (Union County), NJ is looking for a P/T ACO for after hours calls. We are looking for someone in the area with no more than a 20 minute travel distance from home to the Township. We provide the use of the ACO Van and on each call out a minimum fee of $30 is paid for up to two hours there after $15 per hour. There is a rotating shift every other week and a week begins Monday evening at 4:30 PM and continues until the following Monday morning at 8:00 AM when the shift ends.
